You've launched your content, congrats! But unfortunately, enablement doesn't stop at launch. Reinforcement and continued iteration is key to making sure that this content is successful. Here is what you need to do.

Optimize for everyone

Beware the vocal minority. It's easy to want to tweak the content based on what the loudest are saying, but you need to keep in mind everyone. While few people might really be pushing for one thing, it's likely not to be representative of the whole. And too many reactive updates can be overwhelming.

Context matters

When it comes to training and continued enablement, make sure to always keep in mind the difference in knowldge between ramped up reps and new people coming into the company. Specifically, it might feel alright to increase the complexity of the content because ramped reps are familiar with it, but this can increase confusion for new people. A good rule is if you're going to add 2 things, then ask yourself what you are going to remove.

Communicate the why

The best way to get buy in and people excited about a change is by explaining the why. It'll also help them better understand what is changing and increase their confidence in communicating it.

Iteration

You should only be iterating when there's a significant event. What constitutes a significant event? These:

  • Significant amount of feedback
  • Change in GTM messaging
  • New product SKUs being released
  • Time based on a cadence, have a quarterly feedback/prioritization to handle everything big and small

All content should be iterated on, but make sure to have a method of prioritization to take in & provide & enhance current content
